Disclaimer

The guides, how-to steps, feature descriptions and FAQs on this site are intended to help you use the tools. They are not professional advice and may not cover every situation. While we work to keep them accurate and current, we make no guarantee that they are complete, correct or up to date.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Whether you may record a person, a call, a meeting, a class or a place depends on the law where you and the other people are, and on the circumstances. Some places require the consent of everyone involved. You are solely responsible for finding out what applies to you and for obtaining any required consent. We accept no responsibility for recordings made or shared unlawfully.

The quality of a recording depends on your microphone, your device, your browser, your operating system, the room and your settings. Features such as echo cancellation, noise suppression and automatic gain are controlled by your browser and hardware. We cannot guarantee any particular sound quality, level, file size or compatibility of exported WAV or MP3 files with other software or devices.

Recordings are saved only in your browser on your device. They can be lost if browser data is cleared, if storage is full, if you use private browsing, or through a device or software failure. We cannot recover them. Do not rely on the tools as the only copy of important or irreplaceable audio. Always download and back up recordings you care about, and test a short recording before an important session.

The tools are not designed for situations where failure could cause harm or serious loss, such as evidence gathering, medical, safety, emergency or regulated recordkeeping. Use professional equipment and procedures in those cases.

The site relies on features built into modern browsers. Some browsers, versions or devices may not support all features. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, uninterrupted or free of errors.

This site displays advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense, to cover its costs. Ads are served by third parties, are not written by us, and appear automatically. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, any advertiser, product or service. Interacting with an ad is at your own risk and is subject to the advertiser’s own terms. If you see an ad you believe is inappropriate, tell us at contact@audiorecorder.net.

We may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control them, and a link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices.

Your use of the site and tools and your reliance on any information is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from it. See our Terms of Service for the full terms, including limitation of liability.
